a little about me
Born in San Francisco and bred in Atlanta, I’m the product of two coasts and two very different cities. My first year of college was spent as a Journalism major at the University of Georgia, but come senior year, I graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in Economics.
Since grade school I remember feeling like I had to constantly referee a game between my creative and analytical sides. Feeling like I had to choose one over the other. It wasn’t until after my first job out of college that I realized I could embrace both equally. As a writer, I learned how to investigate every side of the story and tell it well; while my time as an economics student demonstrated to me the unique science behind how and why people make decisions.
Since then I’ve parlayed my skills and interests into marketing positions that allow me to interact with people, understand their wants and needs, and best communicate to them. Beyond developing my professional career, I have engendered a passion for hospitality and developed a curiosity toward the beauty industry and even learned how to bake.
I am a hospitality-driven marketer who understands that really great products—be it software or skincare—are conduits for human connection.
